My Victorian Rose Lush Bath

Michelle Resendiz- Chicago, Il.

It’s our Lush Cocktail time. When you fall in love with lush you quickly have issues controlling yourself. The first sign is this cocktail assembly… You’ll noticed you tend to create these cocktails of things layered on top of each other.

This is going to be an ongoing series of the different cocktails I’ve come up with, or ones that I’ve heard about from friends, or my FAVE Lush store right here in Chicago. Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood has quickly become my favorite place to go in the world… and its all because of their friendly neighborhood Lush store.

You may remember a few weeks ago we talked about the Vanilla Bomb Bath… well, here is our distinguished Victorian Rose Bath.

I started out my bath and shower with Turkish Delight Shower Smoothie. This stuff is amazing I cannot stress that enough. I love the smell, the feel, the color… it’s so girly and feminine. I love it, PLUS I’m helping as I use it… the sale of turkish delight helps a womans compound in turkey!

Tip: Apply to skin before getting into the bath or shower – and wash when the water makes contact with it. Smells of roses. Contains cocoa butter, coconut oil, almond oil, and rose water. Cleanses, softens and smells really good.

Delight your senses with a rather rosy outlook

Butter yourself up with our delightfully rich and gorgeous rose-scented body polish for indulgent showering luxury. Each pot is made with superb quality ingredients including our new soap-base, packed with aphrodisiac jasmine and Turkish rose, smoothing almond oil, moisturizing cocoa butter and neroli – the euphoric essential oil. Smooth on this softening smoothie in the shower for clean, touchably soft and fragrant skin. A pot of this suits all skin types, but it is particularly good for dry bodies that need moisture.

Features

  • Shower in decadence: Treat yourself to sumptuous shower with our creamiest, most decadent wash.
  • Dry skin no more: Skin softening cocoa butter also effectively relieves dry, itchy skin.
  • Rosy outlook: Rose absolute is a great ingredient for moisturizing and improving the appearance of mature, rough or irritated skin.

After my amazingly soft, turkish rose, buttery smooth soap… I then apply Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner!  I use this in the shower all the time, basically with everything because its perfect in every way. When I first got it, I have to admit I was not a big fan of the smell, but it grew on me FAST. I love it now, and I really love it with my Turkish Delight. This is exactly what it says… it’s a conditioner for your body. Just like how you condition your hair, you condition your skin now too. It helps me a lot in the cold winter months soothe my troubled skin.

Luxurious rose-scented shower lotion for the softest skin that ever was

LUSH product inventor Rowena made this decadent, rose-scented shower ‘lotion’ – so it’s Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner which very conveniently sounds like Rose Argan Body Conditioner. She noticed how much she liked the sultry soft feeling conditioner gives her hair, so she thought how nice it would be if she could have the same feeling for the body too. With scoops of cocoa butter, cupuacu butter, almond oil and Argan oils, this is the most luxurious body softener that ever was (if we don’t say so ourselves!). After washing up, slather yourself all over with this new invention. Rinse, pat dry and revel in supremely soft, rose-scented skin.

Features

  • Absolute Bliss: Wash with Turkish Delight Shower Smoothie before conditioning with Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner for the ultimate in shower luxury.
  • Moroccan treasure: Argan oil is incredibly softening on the skin and has been used in Morocco for hundreds of years.
  • Smooth moves: Use this at night before you put on your pajamas and sink into slumber with soft, rose-scented skin.

I finish off my whole look with some love and TLC for my long and troubled locks. My hair is really crazy in the colder months, and it needs a little extra treatment. My Shine So Bright is the perfect mend to my tired and damaged hair. I don’t know if its ‘mending’ my already damaged hair, but I can tell you it makes it look better- feel softer- and more manageable.

Mend those ends

We’ve concocted a beautiful balm to repair split ends and help hair shine so bright. Extra virgin coconut and olive oils, shea butter and fresh free range eggs nourish and improve the strength of hair to help mend split ends. Add to that an orange flower, grapefruit, neroli and rosewood perfume and you won’t want to leave home without this!

Features

  • Egg-cellent!: Eggs form a conditioning coating on the hair. The protein content of the eggs adds lustrous shine to hair and helps increase its tensile strength.
  • The scent of a wow-mane: This nourishing balm repairs split ends, but we’ve been applying it just for the beautiful perfume too!
  • Change your habits:For those of you who sit and snap the ends off your hair, melt this balm into those tired ends instead!

AND heres my silly face just because… I was feeling peppy and sassy that day after my amazing bath. COME AT ME! haha!

xoxox,

Michelle
