Sometimes once in a great while I actually get to do some shopping in this great city of Chicago… and when I do I like to go somewhere where I can get the most bang for my buck. I have a list of my favorite places to do some fast everyday shopping like Target, or Old Navy, (you know… places like that.) But when I really want some TLC, and little personal shopper experience, I head up to the Bucktown Neighborhood of Chicago. Vive La Femme Has been in Chicago rocking the plus size market for over a decade. That’s a long time to learn the way around a Woman’s body and what they are looking for.
I went in over the weekend, and was in need of a severe wardrobe update… I was so happy with my purchases I had to post a little #OOTD post for you guys! Stephanie picked out the perfect skirt and top for my body type.
I’m a firm believer that she is our plus size version of Yoda. May the Force be with you my child.. go stop over at Vive! You won’t be sorry.
Ok, so my skirt is a Kristen Miles Chiffon Chic Skirt in tangerine. Its fun, flirty and sophisticated enough to wear to work which I liked. I also liked the full ness of it. It sits at the waist and falls out over the hips. I love it!

Here is my wrap Ballerina top by Kiyonna. Stephanie paired the tangerine and the blue together perfectly, I looked like a Million bucks. I love my wrap top, the only thing that was a little out of my comfort zone was where this hit me. I usually wear things lower on the waist, and a little longer shirt…. but Vive didn’t do me wrong here! These look great together. She even showed me how to wrap it myself, so I could do everything as perfect as she did at home!

I pulled everything together with some little gold flat-flip flops by Vera Wang, and my Marc by Marc Jacobs Magnifying glass and pearl necklace. My lipstick is tangerine-red by LTW custom cosmetics, and I just have on some bronzer and mascara… I kept my look kinda simple. I wanted to feel and look effortlessly beautiful.
Here is me and Carrie with Plus Fashion Week Chicago. We had to work a model call sunday, and that’s where I sported my new Vive la Femme Looks. Thanks Chicago for always being so good to me!
