Yes, Big Bang Theory fans, seems like Sheldon is going to get a new woman in his life, but not in the way you expect.
According to TV Line, producers of the cult hit are in the process of casting Alex, an attractive twenty-something graduate student, who will be Sheldon’s new physics partner. Now what does that mean for TBBT fans, well hypothetically, it could possibly spell out trouble for our favorite couple. I don’t think we have to worry about Sheldon finding himself a new girlfriend, if past experiences showed how difficult it was for Sheldon to admit he had one in the first place. However, this new “lady” in Sheldon’s life could lead to someone catching a case of the green eyed monster aka Amy Farrah Fowler.
As we have seen before, Amy has fought long and hard to ensure that Sheldon acknowledged their friendship for what it really was….a relationship. From web chats, to texting, from dinner “dates” to the girlfriend agreement, Amy has gotten her man and I am sure that she will be keeping an eye on this new girl, just to make sure no funny business will take place. This is all hypothetically of course, but this storyline has so much potential that I have no doubt we can expect hilarity to ensue. As for when we can expect Alex to make her debut that is still left to be seen, but from reports from this year’s Comic Con Panel, this upcoming season is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
