Neon is holding strong going into the summer months. It was a nice little spring attraction that seems to be gaining popularity as the months get warmer and warmer. I’m happy to support the trend, and I’m very happy to say that the Plus Community seems to be really ‘with it’ this summer.
Have you noticed that when things start trending it takes a while before the plus community see’s anything from that trend in their size? I hate that! There is nothing worse than not being able to wear what you want to wear to look cute and fashionable. This time around, however, I don’t seem to have that problem!
A couple of days ago I went to a store in the chicagoland area called DOTS. They are a plus size store that has clothes up to a 3XL, and most of their items seem to be under $25.00! So, take into consideration cheap clothes are cheap clothes. When you go there to buy don’t be surprised if a few things you find seem to be a little cheesy… because they are. BUT- don’t let that stop you! I got some really cute neon, colorful, summery things there.
Look at my awesome neon, hot-pink bandeau bra top that I got! This is super cute, and I’m excited to wear this under some sheer tops this summer. I also bought this adorable bright tangerine orange striped tank top. I think the straps are the coolest part, but you can be the judge.
For my face I used the Sleek make-up Sunset palette, and I threw on a bright blue cardigan. Talk about color, color, color! Have fun guys and remember to stay cool this summer!
