On the 4th I had to work a little before I was able to go out and party with my family and friends… but that’s ok! So, you get two fashion posts today aren’t you guys excited! In one post I am rocking the neon trends like a champ, and later when I went to my BBQ I supported my country in the red white and blue. Take a look at my make-up, and my tips and tricks to the best 4th of July ever!
Here I’m rocking an off the shoulder neon stripe shirt from DOT’s. I picked this baby up for a whopping $7 dollars the other day… bargain shopper? YES PLEASE! I paired it with my favorite skinny jeans from Torrid, and threw on a pair of hot pink flip-flops with a large pink flower that pops out of them in the middle (those are from Target.)
Here is what really makes the outfit work though… my awesome tangerine orangey/bright red lips! You would think with my skin tone that the red’s with the blue hue would look the best on me, but since my mother is italian and my father is french I was blessed with some awesome skin. I tend to pull off red really well… almost ANY red! I have no idea how this happened but it did and I’m not going to argue over it.
Anyway, you may remember my little review of LTW Custom Cosmetics? Well I’ve been sporting this lovely tangerine red all over the place, and I had to share my picspam. It looks great alone, or with a gloss over it. I think it has to be one of my cult summer faves in my make-up collection.
LTW ‘s custom made lipsticks are made with pure plant waxes, botanicals and minerals and are Paraban free. Rich oils of jojoba, macadamia nut, and avocado, as well as shea butter, aloe and vitamin E are blended together to create beautiful, healthy lip coverage, complete with SPF8. The unique lipstick bullet shape allows for precise application. You can customize your lipsticks with anti-aging additives, flavors, essences, and additional sunscreen. All additives are compatible so you can choose any combination of flavors and essences along with treatments and sunscreen. *Denotes Sheer Lipstick
I also, in the process of just trying out new things, found the most amazing way to make my skin look FLAWLESS! I’ll show you a tutorial on how I did that later… but first let me show you what I used on my face today.
