I went out to Plus Fashion Week Chicago’s awesome shopping and style event at Vive la Femme last week, and I have never had this much fun shopping in my entire life! While I was there I got to mingle with other Chicago area bloggers and models, and not to mention the wonderful shoppers in the city. Everyone was so fun and inviting I couldn’t contain my happy smile.
Vive la Femme is a plus size boutique that has been around for years in chicago. 10 years to be exact! Owner Stephanie Sack really knows what she is talking about. Shopping with her is like having some fun time with your best friend, and looking good in everything you try on. She has a try on rule by the way! She always says “I love it when you made a decision about an article of clothing you haven’t tried on yet” she means it too. You better get your butt into that dressing room, and try that puppy on for a test drive.

Stephanie knows a lot about what she has in the store, and she knows her inventory like the back of her hand. I picked out a couple of things and brought them to her attention. “I wouldn’t fall in love with this one, but I would have you try this one” and she grabbed a totally different dress off the rack that I would have NEVER EVER tried on before. Let me tell you, I not only loved the dress she had me try on, but I looked DAMN good in it too!

Shes a plus girl living in the world trying to get healthy, and she’s such an inspiration to all of us.

Nicole: Plus fashion week Chicago (pictured above in the pink short dress). Nicole is the sweetest girl around, she is working for Plus Fashion Week Chicago to help market Plus Fashion. They are starting in Chicago, and hope to globally take over the world! I was so excited to meet and spend some time with her she is the example to plus supporter. She loves everyone, and really does a fantastic job planning some great events for them. GO NICOLE!
Me and Amber! Isn’t she adorable in her amazing heels and Blue Igigi dress? Amber has some serious style!
Amber: Meet Amber of Style plus curves! Amber was a complete doll, she’s so beautiful, and she has great taste! I know because we both we drooling together on a ton of the same outfits! Amber is a true southern belle, making a name for herself modeling and running her fashion blog here in Chicago. What a doll!
Eva London: Eva of In her Glam is just the salt of the earth. She is a big supporter of the Plus Size Community, and that means a lot to me. Eva comes to all the events with her fashionable outfits, her warm soft-spoken attitude, and her camera in tow. She is one of the best bloggers in the Chicago-land area!

Lauren Kent: Lauren is not only a blogger and runs her own awesome website, but she’s a mommy too! Lauren is absolutely gorgeous, she is so beautiful in fact it makes me JEALOUS! She has the coolest taste in clothes, and really knows her fashion. She has such a positive blog and outlook on life her attitude is contagious… and worth catching. The first time I met her I fell in love with her… I cant wait to goto the next event just so I can see what she’s going to wear! Shes seriously the BOMB!
