The SDCC news just keeps on coming, thanks to Collider. The website has compiled a list of expectant films that will make an appearance during this year’s convention as well as insight into which are decidedly taking a pass at this year’s Comic Con.
As expected, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be making an appearance at Hall H as well as the latest movie in the Iron Man franchise. Furthermore, Twilight fans can rejoice as the last installment of the Twilight Saga Series will be heading to Hall H this year, unlike The Dark Knight Rises, which is shockingly skipping this year’s panel opportunity even though the film is slatted to be released a week after the convention. If that isn’t surprising enough, the long awaited Star Trek sequel is not making an appearance either! For such amazing list of heavy hitter films making a their debut for the 2012-2013 calendar year, its seems the one’s that have the most anticipation and fan support are saying ‘no’ to SDCC 2012.
Here’s a list of what has been confirmed thus far:
Disney/Marvel:
- Iron Man 3 (May 3, 2013)
Disney:
- Wreck-It Ralph (November 2, 2012)
- Oz: The Great and Powerful (March 8, 2013)
