The Fifth Season of The Big Bang Theory has been officially announced for September 11, 2o12 on DVD & BluRay. According to Amazon’s Pre-Order List, the regular DVD version is priced seven dollars less at $31.49 than its BluRay counterpart which comes out to be $38.49 respectively, if it is pre-ordered now. If not, then the pricing does go a bit higher at $44.98/$54.97 DVD/BluRay. There are no current listing of extras or an featurettes for either versions, but stay tuned for further additional updates!

According to High-Def Digest, The BluRay version is actually a BluRay/DVD/Ultraviolet Combo pack that will include Featurettes: The Big Bang Theory @100: The cast and producers celebrate the 100th episode, The Big Bang Theory’s Laws of Reflection: The cast reflects on their favorite memories from Season 5, Professors of Production: A behind-the-scenes look at the various departments that bring the show together each week and a gag reel.
