I had to include this in my Mother’s Day posts because it is seriously the COOLEST thing I have ever seen! Carol’s Daughter, my favorite place to shop for anything bath & body, is always doing neat things like this. It makes me want to share it with the world!
To me, this mother’s day post is going to be dedicated to something that Carol’s Daughter and I both believe in… Family!

Carol’s Daughter is rooted in family – in fact, founder Lisa Price named her celeb-adored brand after her mother. For Mother’s Day 2012, Carol’s Daughter invites fans to celebrate their mothers with the “I AM Because You Are” competition, sponsored by Sprite. The contest will allow fans the chance to describe the loving relationship they have with their mothers.
Fans will be able to access an exclusive Contest tab on the Carol’s Daughter Facebook page until May 13th, where they can share the invaluable beauty lessons their mothers taught them by posting a note about it to the wall. For each post, Carol’s Daughter will donate $1 to the Women’s Fund or American Heart Association. Carol’s Daughter Spokesbeauties Solange Knowles, Cassie Venture and Selita Ebanks will be featured in “I AM Because You Are” inspirational videos that will also live on the Facebook page.
Based on which submission speaks to her the most, Lisa will choose one grand prize winner, who will receive a pampering all-expenses paid trip to a premier spa. The winner will be announced on Sunday, May 13th, 2012. In addition to the grand prize, there will be daily giveaways hosted on the Facebook tab, and consumers will have the chance to win coveted Carol’s Daughter products.
To further honor and celebrate mothers everywhere, Carol’s Daughter has created a custom Mother’s Day Gift Set, the Memorable Mists Trio, which includes the Almond Cookie, Sugared Violets and Orange Ambrosia Dry Oil Mists. Lets talk about this shall we? First off, let me just explain something to you… everyone that knows me -or- follows the blog knows that I am obsessed with Carol’s Daughter. I love everything they put out… usually because it appeals to a genre of women of all kinds. Their products have helped my existence. I have used the Monoi hair repair system for months now, and I can’t tell you how happy I am. Now, I have a new found love with my faveorite company called… DRY OIL MIST.
This stuff is to die for! I have it in a couple scents, but one I most recently tried was the ‘Sugared Violets’ . Lucky for you, Its one that you get in the mothers day gift set, and again I am blown away. The scent alone is intoxicating. Powered with Sparkling Lemon, Candied Violet, and Powdery Musk this is my perfect mix. I love fruity and musky smells so this really hit my sweet spot.
With all that aside, it leaves my skin feeling wonderful. I like to use this when I get out of the shower in place of my lotion, and the difference in my skin has been remarkable. If smelling awesome wasn’t enough for you, then benefits of using this will win your heart. Believe me!
